Refund policy

Below is a much stronger Return & Refund Policy designed specifically for subscription-based prepaid digital services like Friendfinity.

This version is stronger because it:

  • Clearly defines digital service allocation
  • Protects against chargebacks
  • Prevents refund abuse
  • Explains the capacity reservation model
  • Adds legal enforceability language
  • Aligns with SaaS and telecom refund structures

This is the type of policy used by companies like Calm, BetterHelp, and telecom services.

Return and Refund Policy

Friendfinity

Last Updated: February 23, 2026

Friendfinity is a digital subscription-based voice service that allows subscribers to pre-purchase calling time with the Friendfinity AI companion.

Because Friendfinity is a digital service with system capacity reserved for each subscriber, refunds and cancellations are governed by the terms below.

By purchasing a Friendfinity subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this Return and Refund Policy.

1. Digital Service Nature

Friendfinity provides immediate access to a digital AI-powered voice service.

Upon activation of a subscription, Friendfinity allocates system capacity, telephony resources, and AI processing availability to the subscriber account for the duration of the billing period.

Because these resources are reserved in advance, Friendfinity subscriptions are not treated as physical goods and cannot be returned.

Refund eligibility is therefore determined based on service usage within the billing period.

2. Subscription Billing

Friendfinity subscriptions provide a monthly allocation of calling minutes based on the subscription tier selected during checkout.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the next billing date.

Each billing cycle represents a new allocation of system resources and service availability for the subscriber.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are limited and are evaluated based on actual usage of minutes within the active billing cycle.

No Usage During Billing Cycle

If zero minutes have been used during the billing cycle, the subscription fee is non-refundable.

When a billing cycle begins, Friendfinity reserves infrastructure resources and service capacity for the subscriber account. Because these resources are allocated immediately, subscription fees cannot be refunded once the billing cycle has started.

Partial Usage of Minutes

If a subscriber has used some but not all minutes during the billing cycle, a refund may be issued only for the unused portion of minutes remaining.

Refund calculations are based on the proportional value of unused minutes relative to the subscription tier purchased.

Friendfinity reserves the right to apply reasonable administrative processing adjustments when calculating prorated refunds.

Full Usage of Minutes

If all minutes included in the subscription tier have been used during the billing cycle, no refund is available.

4. Unused Minutes

Unless explicitly stated otherwise within a specific subscription offering:

  • Unused minutes do not roll over to the next billing cycle.
  • A new allocation of minutes is issued at the start of each billing period.

Unused minutes expire at the end of the billing cycle.

5. Subscription Cancellation

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account settings or by contacting support.

When a subscription is cancelled:

  • The cancellation prevents future billing cycles
  • The current billing cycle remains active until the scheduled renewal date
  • Any remaining minutes may be used until the end of the billing period

Cancelling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Because Friendfinity is a prepaid digital service with clearly disclosed usage-based refund rules, initiating a chargeback after using the service may be considered a violation of these Terms.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated:

  • The associated account may be temporarily suspended
  • Access to services may be restricted while the dispute is reviewed
  • Evidence of service access and usage logs may be provided to the payment processor

We encourage customers to contact support before initiating payment disputes so we can resolve concerns directly.

7. Technical Service Failures

If a verified technical failure prevents access to Friendfinity services, Thrive Mental, LLC may, at its sole discretion:

  • issue service credits
  • extend available minutes
  • provide a prorated refund

Technical issues must be reported within 7 days of occurrence.

8. Fraudulent or Abusive Refund Requests

Friendfinity reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of:

  • suspected fraud
  • abuse of refund policies
  • attempts to manipulate service usage to obtain refunds
  • violations of the Terms and Conditions

Accounts engaging in such activity may be suspended or terminated.

9. Processing of Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • processing may take 5–10 business days
  • timing may vary depending on the payment provider

Friendfinity is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.

10. Policy Changes

Thrive Mental, LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time.

Changes will be posted on the website with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
